Meet The Team


Dennis Shafer, Woodwinds,  Director

Dennis loves working with kids and making music FUN! He has a passion for music instills this in his students. Dennis has over 15 years experience teaching all ages and styles of music, and holds degrees at Longy of Bard College, Boulogne Conservatory (France), The Boston Conservatory, and Brooklyn College. He feels it is important to organize performances for his students.  His students have performed in many venues from Harvard Square to Carnegie Hall.

Trisha Craig, Flute Instructor

Trisha Craig believes that anyone can learn and loves to bring out the best in all of her students! She has been teaching, coaching, and conducting musicians of all ages for over thirty years. She enjoys exposing students and audiences to modern styles and techniques, and her enthusiasm is infectious. Trisha holds music degrees from Ithaca College and Longy School of Music, and her students have won awards at the local, regional, and national levels.

Allison Damon


Allison finds great joy in helping her students learn music they are excited about! She holds degrees from the Longy School of Music and Seattle Pacific University and has taught a variety of brass students- from beginners who want to learn “Baby Shark” to advanced high school students playing in indie rock bands and preparing for auditions. She is excited to guide you in your journey of musical self-discovery. 


Peter Tentindo, Guitar/Piano

Peter Tentindo is a professional guitarist, vocalist, keyboardist, and recording artist from the Boston area. He loves performing, writing, producing, and teaching music. Performance credits include opening for the Jacksons on their 50th Anniversary Tour, Alice Cooper, Heaven & Hell (Black Sabbath), Queensryche and backing up Billy Gilman of NBC's The Voice . Peter teaches guitar, keyboards, ukulele, and music theory to all students interested in learning.

Welcome to Artist Row Music Lessons with ChagallPAC!! Here is some important info:

-Lessons/ensemble are after school hours on Artists Row. Artists sometimes have to tend to customers, if this happens, lesson time will be extended.

-Email Dennis Shafer,, or text 785-979-8675 to schedule lesson times.

-Lessons will begin in October 2019, first come first served to time slots after school.

-Lessons will be booked by 10 sessions at a time, from October through December.

-Click above to register and pay for lessons, or print the registration form below and hand to us in person.

-Students will prepare for a recital Performance!***

***Performance: Tuesday, 12/3 at 6pm at ChagallPAC on Artists Row!
